WELCOME
Welcome to Suffolk Speech Therapy - we provide independent speech and language therapy services for children in Suffolk and the south of Norfolk.
Suffolk Speech Therapy is run by Kimberley Downing (Speech and Language Therapist) and is based in Brockford, near Stowmarket. We provide services in Bury St Edmunds, Ipswich, Stowmarket, Needham Market, Diss, Eye, Hadleigh, Thetford and all surrounding villages and towns.
First appointments will be offered wherever is most suitable for you and your family. Follow up appointments are made at your convenience.
Please note that from 4th April 2024 I will not be accepting new patients for 6 months. Please come back early September for an update.
WHAT I OFFER
I have an open referral system and am happy to take referrals from parents, carers or other professionals involved with your child (with consent from a person with parental responsibility). I will need to take some details including your child's name, date of birth, your address and contact number, alongside information about your concerns. Usually this will be done during a free phone consultation when we will decide if a face to face assessment of the child is recommended. Once assessment is complete we will decide together whether therapy is needed.
Following contact from you, if I work with your child you will be sent a copy of our ‘Terms and Conditions’ and our ‘Privacy Policy’ for your approval and signature before starting the sessions. If we do not go ahead with sessions any data you have provided including names and contact details will be deleted from our systems.
Part of my commitment to you is that in offering my services I can confirm adherence to the new General Data Protection Regulations (2018) which protects your privacy and rights to confidentiality.
